What we stand for

Built for
real conversation.

We didn't build another app with seventeen hats. We built the place Africans come to talk — where your opinion starts something, and someone always answers.

Built to be heard

For too long, African voices were background noise on platforms that weren't designed for us. On Textmob your perspective isn't secondary — it's the conversation starter. No shadowbanning. No suppressed reach. Just your take, heard.

Built to connect

From Lagos to Johannesburg, from Accra to the diaspora in London and New York — Textmob brings people together through real conversations, not algorithms that isolate. Every reply, thread, and hashtag is a way to find your people.

Built to reward

The people who start conversations people care about should get paid. MobCoins turn your best posts, Snaps, and livestreams into real money and airtime — so quality voices stay, instead of chasing ads that never notice them.

Built to last

This isn't a trend. It's infrastructure for African digital culture — a place that grows with its people, rewards its creators, and refuses to compromise on what matters: authenticity, ownership, and respect.

Why Textmob

Everything a conversation needs.

Every feature exists for one reason: to help conversations start, deepen, and travel — from a single take to a community.

Posts & Polls

Your take, heard

Drop your hottest take as text, photos, videos, or polls — and watch the community tell you where it stands. Hashtags and mentions pull the right people in.

Snaps

Show the story you're talking about

Punchy vertical video for moments worth talking about. Record, post, and let a funny clip or hot take travel further than text ever could.

MobCoins

Good conversations pay

When your posts and Snaps gain traction, you earn MobCoins — redeemable for airtime or real cash. The voices people care about get rewarded, not just advertisers.

Go Live

Talk face-to-face, live

Host Q&As, perform, debate — and hear back in real time. Viewers gift you MobCoins while you talk, so the conversation pays as it happens.

Hall of Fame

The best voices get noticed

The top 5 most active Textmobbers every 7 days — ranked for quality and consistency, so the people driving the best conversations get the spotlight.

Louda Messaging

Take the conversation private

When a public thread gets personal, move it to DMs, group chats, and statuses — with built-in translation, so language never ends a conversation.

New

Get Verified

Know who you're talking to

The blue tick tells everyone the account is real — trust before you join in. NG500/month with 50 quality posts and a Professional account.

New

Textmob AI

Never post into the void

Stuck on what to say? Ask anything, brainstorm ideas, or generate content — without ever leaving the conversation.

Individual & Org Accounts

One network, two ways to show up

Everyday voices get Individual accounts; brands and organisations get analytics, monetization tools, and verification access — both part of the same conversation.

Connections

Find the circle that talks back

Follow voices worth answering and discover like-minded people from Lagos to London, Nairobi to New York.

Search & Discovery

Find the conversation already happening

Search surfaces people, posts, Snaps, and hashtags instantly — and every hashtag has a dedicated page, so you land mid-conversation, not lost.

New
